I got a fisheye Lomo camera at work today. I have no idea where to even start with the thing. Does all of the film have to be developed through lomo?

you CAN send it out - but most stores will develop it. It's best to ask that they not do any color correction on the photos though, if you want that "lomo" look.
lomo doesn't provide photo processing services anymore. you can use any 35mm film in the fisheye camera so you can take it anywhere to get it developed.
